School Profile

Loreto College is an 11-18 Comprehensive Academy located near the centre of St Albans.

It is a Catholic faith school, having been founded by the Loreto Sisters in 1922.

The College has 926 pupils on roll: there are five forms of girls in years 7-11, and 153 girls & boys in the Sixth Form.

In 2013, the College received a full inspection by OFSTED and was rated outstanding for the third time in succession. A specific inspection of the school’s PSHE provision took place in 2010, and this was also rated as outstanding.
